Sublime Shower Steamer Cubes - Ritual

Step 1: Placing the Steamer

Remove paper packaging and place the shower steamer on the floor of the shower or on the soap shelf, preferably in a shallow dish.

*For typical shower spaces, positioning the setup on the floor results in a better experience.

Step 2: Run Shower

Run your shower as usual. Before entering, allow the water to heat up past your usual desired temperature briefly before turning it back down in order to fill the shower with steam. The intensity of steam helps the release and activation of essential oil vapours.

*Limiting bathroom ventilation may help aromas saturate.

Step 3: Breathe Deeply

As the shower steamer begins to foam, effervesce and dissolve, inhale deeply through your nose, and out through your mouth, and repeat. You will start to feel a calming, clarifying sensation in your sinuses.

Tip: For Better Projection

For better projection, consider spreading or dabbing the steamer's scented clay onto the walls at chest height. The residue is a corn starch paste and can be rinsed clean easily at the end of the shower.

Tip: Clarifying Boost*

For those who love the thrill of intensity, massage the wet steamer generously onto your palms, cup palms together, keep eyes closed and hover palms over your nose and inhale through your nose deeply. Rinse hands thoroughly and avoid touching your eyes.

Signature Shower Steamer Tabs - Ritual

Step 1: Placing the Steamer

Remove paper sachet and place the shower steamer upright on the floor of the shower or on the soap shelf away from direct shower spray*, preferably on the edge of the nearest-facing wall.

*Compared to Sublime cubes, Signature tabs are denser and can handle more contact with water.

Step 2: Run Shower

*Limiting bathroom ventilation may help aromas saturate.

Step 3: Breathe Deeply

For better projection, experiment with different positioning of the tab based on shower layout.

SMALL SHOWERS

If you have a small or well-enclosed shower, the steamers may benefit from being placed closer to the drain in order to effectively disperse the essential oils into the air. Experiment with positioning until the desired strength are acheived.

Larger Showers

If you have a larger or less-enclosed shower, the steamers may be placed further away from the drain and still effectively disperse aromas. Enhanced projection and Clarifying Boost may be required for desired strength. Refer to above instructions.

Open Showers

For open or outdoor showers, we recommend either using the Clarifying Boost method above or to consider using two shower steamer tabs per shower.

Showerhead Pressure & Shower Steamers

The type of showerhead you have can also impact the effectiveness of the essential oil shower steamers. Higher-pressure showerheads results in better aroma dispersion. For lower-pressure showerheads, steamers may need to be placed closer spray for better effect.
